Have you talked to a professional about this? My first suggestion is to talk with a therapist. If you feel as though you have a problem, then you probably do. Let the therapist know how long these problems have persisted. Take into account current events in your life. Is there anything happening in your life that could be causing or contributing to the lack of concentration, memory lapse, etc.? Are there certain instances when these symptoms are more evident? Keeping a journal is often good for sorting out your thoughts and feelings. Many times when patients talk with their doctors, they will unintentionally leave out something that they intended to tell their doctor. A journal allows you to note certain behaviors or feelings that you want to share with your doc. If you have already talked with a professional about this, then I suggest seeking a second opinion.
