This comic tries to simplify how complicated psychotic delusions can become, as they continuously pile one on top of the other. It was hard for me to cut through and say “This is horsesh*t!” about the lot of them. I’m not sure if I was simply experiencing a strong case of denial, but whatever it was that kept me “entwined”, it was very powerful. I used humour to stave off the pain of some of the harsher beliefs and fears I had. It didn’t always work, but it kept me from feeling suicidal.
