This was another comic I chose to rehash – in this case, I redrew the entire strip. I think I was under great stress in the hospital when I drew strips 20 through to 23, because these are the ones that have stuck out like sore thumbs and, I felt, required considerable editing. Sometimes it was pandemonium on my ward – if you’ve ever seen the film ’12 Monkeys’, my ward reminded me quite a bit of the mental hospital scenes in that flick. Fortunately, the hospital I was in is presently being torn down and replaced with a much nicer set of buildings – perhaps the brand new, ultra-modern setting will inspire better care as well!

(The floating ‘Go West’ Pet Shop Boy head that appears in this comic was something I also experienced, and was one of my personal favorite hallucinations – I enjoyed its company, it kept me amused.)
