Here’s another comic with edited panels – the last two, to be exact. It’s a little on the late side, because I’ve wanted to redo those two panels for a while, but I didn’t get the chance until today. I realize now, when I go back and look at the older strips, how “ranty” I was at the time – it’s so much easier now to go back and edit a huge field of text. Still, I chose to retain most of the original strips, because there’s something about their rawness that I like… they’re very “underground” in feel. Writing these comics not only helped me work my way out of psychosis, but they were a way of proving to the hospital staff that I was getting better (by being able to compose a narrative), that it was time for me to be let go.
