This comic is among the last of the excessively wordy, ranty, panel-hogging strips of the series. Romantic obsession is of course a very common conundrum, so the subject of this strip may be easier to relate to than some of the other, more obscure story arcs.

(I later decided, long after making this strip, that “Annie Hall” is the character from film that I am most like in real life – I even sort of look like her these days, except that I carry a little bit more weight right now. Damn you, Seroquel XR!)
